A non-facebook/tweeting/gamer, I study movements & transformation of material texts in ways that approach digital humanities & "databases" as both subject (one incarnation of playscripts) and means (to present my research)--though lagging in the latter. Leaving Zizek to others, I find neo-materialist, tempered post-structural approaches of "Big Data," Thing studies, & economic anthropology germane for my work (which is based in sociological book history).
