I'm program coordinator at the Digital Writing and Research Lab. As a recent graduate of the University of Texas at Austin with a Ph.D. in English and a concentration in rhetoric and digital literacies, I am particularly interested in research that foregrounds the rhetorical aspects of networked ecologies. My research interests are at an intersection of emerging technologies, rhetorical theory, and food discourse. Much of my work focuses on the porous borders between online discourse and material spaces. In my research, food networks currently serve as the sites of inquiry, and I attempt to show how persuasion travels with (and through) material-but-perishable objects.
