I have degrees in math and history and am a former high school math teacher. I am currently working on a PhD in history and have recently discovered DH, which seems an intriguing way of blending my interests in both fields. My dissertation is a comparative study of the birth and development of settler colonies in French Algeria and the American Midwest. I'm a bibliophile, cellist, runner, and blogger.
