I'm a historian, educator, mom, runner, knitter, and baseball fan--not in any particular order. My current research is on democratic practices and grassroots activism across the twentieth century. I also have a long-standing research interest in the politics of knowledge production. After years as a Luddite who refused to serve the growing Leviathon of technology, I've developed a keen interest in how technology can serve me!
