I am a professor of English at the University of Montevallo. I specialize in the British Romantic period, but also teach classes in children's literature, young adult literature and folk and fairy tales. I am currently beginning work on a scholarly digital archive on the works of Mary Russell Mitford, which I am working on collaboratively with scholars from a number of different institutions.
