I've been a professor of philosophy for 14 years, and a technophile for at least twice as long! Before attending graduate school, I worked as a technical writer and sometime programmer. My research interests include online friendships; John Stuart Mill's ethical and religious views; and philosophy pedagogy. I also like to ride my bicycle a lot.
