Victoria McCargar is an archivist, special collections librarian, educator and consultant in digital asset management and preservation. She has worked in the area of digital preservation for more than 15 years especially in the area of news preservation. She teaches preservation management in the School of Library and Information Science at San José State University. She serves as archivist and special collections librarian at Mount St. Mary's College in Los Angeles, managing both paper collections and the college's small but mighty institutional repository.
