I hold a Ph.D. in English Literature; my area of interest is online user-generated Shakespeare performance (remediation) such as YouTube and fan fiction. I am an instructor in the Department of English at ASU who teaches composition to non-resident English language learner students and am always interested in the pedagogic practices of other teachers who use various online/digital tools (like Socrative) beyond blog sites (like Wordpress) and institutional ones like Blackboard.
