Hello. My name is Tim Achee, and I am the Associate University Archivist at Saint Louis University. Before coming to SLU, I was a Campus Librarian at Sanford-Brown College in Collinsville, a Digital Imaging Clerk for the National Archives and Records Administration, and an Archivist with the Missouri History Museum’s Research Library and Archive. Many, many years ago I held a position as a Network Administrator in Baton Rouge, LA. In addition to being faculty at SLU, I am currently enrolled in the Masters of Science in Organizational Informatics program there. My previous academic experience includes a Master of Arts in History from Louisiana State University and a Masters of Library and Information Science from the Louisiana State University School of Library and Information Science. My undergraduate degrees include a BA in History with a minor in Fine Arts, and a BA in Liberal Arts: Art History with a minor in Classical Civilization. On a personal level, I am a boardgame enthusiast and have authored Pius XII Memorial Library’s LibGuide on boardgames. I also attend some of the local boardgame meetups. My attendance at the boardgame meetups has been increasingly sparse lately, as I also have a 14 month old daughter. In addition to the normal time demands a toddler imposes, she, my wife, and I have recently moved from the Benton Park neighborhood into a house in Tower Grove East and are still settling in to the new place. My other hobbies include digital artwork, reading, and some scripting (mostly in Python these days).
