I hold a PhD in American Literature from Tufts University and my literary research is focused on the transatlantic nineteenth-century, in particular the intersection of popular visual culture (lithography and early photography) and mobility. As a librarian at Villa I Tatti in Florence, Italy, I manage serial publications and provide information technology services (software configuration, website management, metadata reporting, design, etc.). I was master at Galaga back in the day and can still beat my kids at their own video games...I'm enjoying this while it lasts.
