I'm a phd student. I use digital tools to try and wrestle with and make sense of the volumes of information and research that I am expected to read and create. I'm also an adjunct instructor - I teach pre-service teachers about how to think about integrating technology and media into their k-12 curricula. my research focus is online communities and the tools and technologies they use to create, maintain, and propagate these communities. especially their use of lolcats (I'm kidding about the lolcats a little bit). I love meeting people, connecting people, hugging people.
