Currently, I am a lecturer in the Department of English here at Vanderbilt University. I received my Ph.D. from Vanderbilt and my research is in the field of 19th-century studies, specifically Victorian poetry. I have always had terrible scores in Galaga, but as a teenager I had a high score on the Street Fighter II game at the local pizza place. That scared my mom considerably.
