I have been dealing with technology and the humanities pretty much every day of my professional life since 1993 when I was hired to create websites while doing graduate work in English. My dissertation included a website designed to help students understand Leslie Silko's novel, Ceremony. That website morphed into a Google Earth project about five years ago. Currently, I am (slowly) learning Objective-C so I can transfer that same idea into an iOS app.
