I'm a cultural theorist of technology who's recently become an emerging technologies librarian. In that role I help patrons and colleagues explore emergent and even disruptive technologies. While in graduate school I was a full-time web developer (front and back end) for an academic library. My superpower (radioactive spider) is the foot-in-both-worlds ability to have conversations with and even act as a bridge between technology wizards and muggles.
