I''ve been teaching English at Columbia College for a great long while (and now at UMC). I've also working on Environmental Studies classes and programs. I recently went back to grad school in Geography, to help me see new ways to think about how we live in a globalizing world--I like walking the dogs and pretending the vast city isn't there sometimes, but I've never really disconnected from all that, through the so many layers of technology. I wonder how this changes who we are.
