I’m a doctoral candidate in the Science, Technology and Society program at Bar-Ilan University and a visiting scholar in the HCII at Carnegie Mellon University. My current work focuses on location-based technology and its intersection with local social interactions. More specifically, I study how the use of services like foursquare affects people’s daily life and local neighborhoods and how researching the data produced by this technology can provide us with a way to gather insights in regard to the study of cities. I like cities, maps and everything that is made out of lemons.
