I have been teaching in English departments since 1991. I advanced my career at Brevard College, North Greenville University, Rosman High School, and now at Blue Ridge Community College, in Brevard, North Carolina. As I mentioned, I prefer the old school method, using only the textbooks and pencils. I enjoy grammar, writing, and Appalachia Literature. Currently, I am writing a book of poetry and a children's book.
