I have a Ph.D. in anthropology from UVA and a long history of work on digital humanities projects at UVA, Princeton University, and DIckinson College. I currently help faculty and students develop small scale digital collections here at UVA and I teach for both the Anthropology and Media Studies Departments. My research interests are, aside from DH, the anthropology of digital media and culture, structuralism, and comparative ontology.
