Joel Nichols is a Children's Librarian and writer who lives in West Philly. He works at the Parkway Central Library, and in addition to Children's work, serves on the Virtual Library Services committee and teaches public computer classes. He studied German at Wesleyan U., Creative Writing at Temple U., and Library Science at Drexel U., and is interested in delivering analog library services (such as storytimes or special collections) digitally and information literacy as social power. He also adjuncts in English at Community College of Philadelphia, and used to work for a streaming video company.
