I am still at an early stage in my career, so I am not interested in spending large amounts of time on developing technological proficiency, rather I am more interested in technology as a tool that can enhance efficiency and efficacy of teaching and perhaps research. I have been a student in a couple of short online courses over the last couple of years, and I am not yet fully convinced that they are as effective as traditional forms of instruction.
