I'm currently in the first year of a joint PhD program in film studies and history of art. I'm interested in experimental film, the increasing presence of film in the museum, and the role of technology in the production and circulation of art objects. Before coming to Yale I worked at Museum of the Moving Image, where I worked in a few positions: curatorial assistant, cataloger, registrar, and data migration assistant. As a museum educator there, I also led video game design workshops using MIT's Scratch software. As an undergraduate I worked with WJT Mitchell and the Chicago School of Media Theory to propose an information visualization project called the Media HyperAtlas (http://hyperatlas.uchicago.edu), but the project was never finished.
