A lifelong learner, advocate of active learning, and self-described teaching-otaku, Michael taught college-level humanities courses for over six years at two institutions before returning to finish his doctorate in education. He is currently researching (read: obsessed with) ways to use games-based learning in new and innovative ways to improve active learning.
