It was a dark and stormy night...I have worked at The University of Southern Mississippi Center for Oral History and Cultural Heritage for nine years, enthusiastically designing and directing oral history projects and providing training to community groups, students, and teachers. As an administrator of Mississippi Humanities Council statewide grants, and a frequent trainer and speaker, I am in contact with many small organizations and teachers seeking better ways to engage communities and students in local history and civic development. I enjoy staying on top of current trends and innovation intersecting the arts, history, new media, and human development, and seek to develop my own competences in these areas in order to assist others. I love the process AND product!
