I work at the Center for History and New Media, George Mason University. The current project is Teaching History Commons, a developing online community of practice for K-12 educators. I'm also a PhD candidate in the Department of History and Art History, working on my dissertation on nineteenth century southern industrial development. The Tredegar Iron Works in Richmond, Virginia, is the focus of that work.
