I'm currently finishing my third year in the PhD History program at GMU. My research interests include, very generally, the study of gender, family history, and material culture in 18th- and 19th-century America and Britain. My day job requires constant use of XML, CMS, and limited Photoshop, but with the Clio classes I'm beginning to explore the wider world of technology and the humanities.
