I have worn many hats professionally over the years, but the main thread throughout them all has been an interest in how to use new technology programs and tools to enhance communication strategies. Because of currently position in the academic world, I have become very interested in digital humanities and the evolving nature of how universities operate as knowledge think-tanks within the confines of academy "rules". The historic university role within society has begun to change and I think technology will continue to play an increasingly important role for the academy both for financial reasons as well as to maintain relevance within the professional world at large.
