I am a 2nd year graduate student in Humanities pursuing an emphasis in English at MSMC. A member of MLA and the Society for Cinema and Media Studies, my research interests are: American popular culture, film, and the impact of the city on contemporary world fiction. But, really, virtually everything interests me. I am currently researching depictions of trauma in the graphic novel. About those rock stars of the Ivory Tower, I will admit to having academic crushes on Mulvey and Žižek without claiming to be an expert on their respective oeuvres.
