I am a cultural geographer and cartographer interested in the digital humanities and historical GIS. My research interests are broad--spanning from the geographical legacies of 6th century Irish sailor monks to current day mappings of Africanized honey bee movement in South Florida. I see cartography as a language and want to continue to develop my skill set for historical mapping projects.
