I have an MA in English from the University of Tennessee, after which I spent a few years teaching at UT and community colleges. As nearly all MAs in English do, I briefly considered a law degree, but came to my senses and pursued an MLS from UNC instead. Modernism was my chief interest during my English grad days, though the classes I took were all over the map in an effort to fill the gaps of my vast ignorance. As a librarian, I've been interested in preservation, rare books, and knowledge management. In the future, I await finding out what Galaga is.
