I wrote a dissertation on gender and national identity in Latin American detective fiction with no particular technological emphasis, but I'm starting to play around with collaborative and multimodal projects in the Spanish and Portuguese courses I teach. I've been teaching myself some programming basics on codecademy and elsewhere but haven't really worked out yet how to make those skills useful in my research or teaching.
