R. Y. King is a writer, teacher and analog photographer, currently living and teaching in New Haven, CT where she lives with her two beloved Italian Greyhounds and brilliant librarian. She teaches at Southern Connecticut State University. Her writing and photography has appeared in Postmodern Culture, The Denver Quarterly, Evening Will Come and other literary journals and she continues to exhibit her photography both nationally and internationally. At present, she is at work on an experimental prose narrative centered on rural life on the West Texas plains.
