I have an MSocSc in economics and worked in economic forecasting for a few years, followed by a decade in IT. I also have graduate diplomas in Info Systems, Finance, Mathematics, and Teaching. I am currently doing an MA in German where my dissertation features quantitative analyses of a recent novel. Scary fact: I have written more lines of production COBOL code in the past five years than Java or Perl.
