My research interests include: higher education and organizational change, transformative learning, education for social justice and social change, critical race feminist pedagogy. In 2011, I was honored with the following: 1) 2011 Center for Internships and Community Engagement Outstanding Service-Learning Instructor Award, CSU Fullerton, 2) 2011 Outstanding Teaching Award, College of Humanities & Social Sciences, CSU Fullerton, 3) Community Hero Award for selfless contributions to community, Orange County Asian & Pacific Islander American Community Alliance. And, my 8-year-old daughter regularly beats me at the iPad app, TouchHockey (aka Air Hockey)!
