I'm working on a PhD in Computer Science with the National Archives and University of York with a focus on opening up archives online. I spent five and a half years working at the National Archives in Education and Outreach. I launched The National Archives’ Flickr presence in 2008 and ran a project to tweet WWII in real time using British Cabinet Papers. My other research interests include British cinema, 1950s horror comics and that time I organised a duel for the History Channel.
