I work in international education and really enjoy the parts that many others dread like financial aid and software management. I love following rules. While some may feel that rules prevent creativity, I feel like rules inspire ways to creatively accomplish what you want done with the restrictions that you have been given. I am grateful for the teenage years where virtually all of my confidants were individuals I had never met in person. During these years I peaked in technological savvy. Now I sometimes find my tech abilities to be rather disappointing but somehow I have still remained the go-to person for technology in every office I have ever worked. Full disclosure: I had to Google both Nicholas Carr and Slavoj Žižek. I believe wholeheartedly in the value of a liberal arts education.
