I am a graduate student at Saint Louis University with an AOS in political philosophy. My dissertation concerns the relationship of policies and laws to the democratic process from the perspective of John Dewey. I think Slavoj Zizek is a hack because I disagree with Freudianism and especially its Lacanian manifestation, but he knows his Hegel and how to explain it to lay people through films even more obscure than Hegel. This curmudgeonly attitude with respect to Zizek has not prevented me from achieving sublime scores on Galaga.
