I am the coordinator of the lower-division language program in the Department of Spanish and Portuguese Studies at the University of Florida. My teaching and research interests intersect in the following areas: classroom discourse analysis, content-based instruction, blended and online language learning, and systemic functional approaches to language and literacy. At UF, I currently teach courses on language learning methodology and am designing the online elementary Spanish sequence for UF Online.
