I'm a recent Ph.D. from Michigan State University and a brand new California transplant and Assistant Professor in Cal State Fullerton's Dept. of Communications. My research interests lie in the role of technology on the human aspects of tourism, with a focus on the impacts of social media and location-based services on that experience. I also feel that Nicholas Carr is too "shallow" in his understanding of technology, and would much rather read Kevin Kelley.
