James P. Ascher is an Assistant Professor and Rare Book Cataloger at the University of Colorado at Boulder since 2009, Ascher teaches book history and maintains bibliographical databases. He holds an MS in Mathematics in addition to his MLIS and has published on bibliographical methods in RBM--one of the premier journals in rare books and manuscripts studies.
