I'm currently a Metadata Librarian in the Cataloging and Metadata Services division at UVa, but I've only been doing this for a few months. Prior to joining at UVa, I spent three years at the Library of Congress working in the National Digital Newspaper Program, a joint project between the LC and the National Endowment for the Humanities to serve up digitized newspapers through the website Chronicling America. I'm very interested in digital preservation, and using metadata for both large and smaller-scale efforts.
