I am a statistician in the Math Department at Union. However, I have spent most of my career as a statistician in the private sector, much of it with GE Global Research. In applying statistics to the real world, I have seen that it is not purely scientific, but also overlaps with the humanities quite a bit, simply because it occurs through people.
