My academic background is in Russian literature (specifically children's literature), with related work in Anglo-American kiddie lit, and translation theory and practice. I was introduced both to DH and to library work while working as a student library employee during grad school. DH and libraries have always seemed, and continue to seem, a perfect match to me. I've been doing both professionally for 15 years.
