I began the Menil Archives in 2000, but have worked for the same organization since 1968, first at the University of St. Thomas and Rice University as assistant art librarian, at the Rice Museum and the Image of the Black in Western Art Research Archive and Library, and then at the Menil Collection in the curatorial department and doing rights and reproductions and publication editing. My digital skills are lacking, which is why I wish to attend these workshops.
