I am a librarian at GW who works primarily with the humanities. I am also a poet, and in that capacity I have experimented with text-mining tools as compositional aids/constraints. In collaboration with my brother (an artist in NYC), I have created a project related to government surveillance called "The Clandestine Reading Room." I write code in Python, and I am interested in learning tools for data visualization.
