I'm the oldest of 8 children. I took a year off before college and worked full time, helped my mom study to work towards a nursing degree, and went to numerous concerts and movies alone. I went to Harvard as an undergraduate and studied Arabic, Chinese, Chinese modern art, painting, and environmental studies. I would have studied a lot more if I could have. I worked for a landscape architecture firm after college. After I was downsized, I once started working freelance and held down 4 clients at once, doing graphic design, grant writing, or whatever service I could offer. I also worked at a yoga studio. I have a cat named Nutmeg. I like dancing to bluegrass.
