I received my PhD in Italian Literature from Rutgers University in 2009 and have been working as an Italian instructor at Villanova University since Fall 2005. My dissertation deals with the relationship between grace, free will, and predestination in Dante's Divine Comedy and is titled "The Pilgrim's Journey Home". I am currently enrolled in a library Science program at Drexel University and hope to receive my MSLIS degree in June 2014. I recently have become interested in the role of digital technology in education. How can digital technology be used in the classroom to teach foreign language and literature? I'm also interested in how digital technology is being used in libraries to help patrons and scholars with their research. I'm looking forward to attending THATCamp Philly so that I can learn as much as I can about digital technology and the digital humanities.
