I'm the Chair of the English Department at QCC and a faculty member of the MALS Program at the Grad Center. I got my MA at Ohio State University, where I worked as a WPA and did coursework with Andrea Lunsford and Brenda Brueggemann. I received my Ph.D from the CUNY Graduate Center, where I did coursework with Ira Short and George Otte. Though my research and publications have had more of a cultural studies and American Studies approach, I am getting back to my earlier interests in the teaching and practice of writing.
