I've been the Director of the Writing Center and a faculty member in the English Department at Georgetown for almost eleven years. Although I earned my Ph.D. in Victorian literature from Princeton, I now work primarily in Writing Studies. I'm the co-author, with Susan Basalla, of "So What Are You Going to Do with That? A Guide to Postacademic Careers" (University of Chicago) as well articles on teaching writing.
