I'm a history grad student at UMSL, the digital content manager at the St. Louis Mercantile Library (part-time, it's not as cool as it sounds), and a project manager at the Missouri Botanical Garden for a digitization project. I've been reading with Andrew Hurley of the UMSL history department on pubic and digital humanities. Public history and digital history overlap less than I used to think, but I'm trying to read both sides and find a middle ground. History of Botany and intellectual institutions are my main fields of study.
