As a writing tutor and future librarian, I’m interested in how the organization of information shapes the way that knowledge is produced and how scholars use information in more ways than the architects of information systems originally conceive. What most attracts me to librarianship as a profession—and to special collections in particular—is the opportunity to serve as a nexus between scholar and collections, research process and research product.
